What You Get for Your Buck
Adoption fee for a dog between 1-6 years old is a donation of $300-$500. You are able to set the dollar amount within that range. Anything you can do above and beyond the base amount is very much appreciated, as funds are always needed, especially for medical cases. We are a 100% volunteer organization; each of our fosters, web designer, and coordinators work full time jobs aside from volunteering to this rescue, and everything goes towards saving more dogs in need.
Adoption fee includes Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella vaccinations, microchip and spay/neuter. If there is a known medical condition, we cover the medication.
Puppies that are too young to be vaccinated will come with appropriate vaccination for the age. The adopter will be responsible for completing the remaining vaccination.
Why is Adoption Fee So High?
We are sometimes asked why our adoption fee is high. We are a private rescue organization that is NOT funded by government. Local animal shelters run by the city or county receives funding from tax dollars. We do not. Well established organizations like the SPCA or Humane Society handling multiple breeds also receive funding from grants and have a larger donation base.
