Brighter futures for dogs left without hope
Open your home and heart to a rescued dog! Whether a playful puppy, adult or a senior, each of our rescued dogs is waiting to be your forever companion.
Our group is located mainly in Southern California.
We introduce applicants to our available dogs in San Diego, Aliso Viejo, Oceanside, and other locations based on the need of the applicant and rescued dog. We also rescue in the SF Bay Area. Our rescued dogs are fostered in San Diego, Tijuana, and Sonora and Santa Clara County, San Francisco Bay Area
Our mission
We rescue and rehabilitate adult and senior dogs, mamas, and puppies at risk of losing their lives in shelters or on the streets, giving them the love and care they need to find their forever homes.
The picture to the right is a group of dogs abandoned by previous renters. Left starving, covered in fleas, full of worms, matted and afraid! We are working hard to help this group but it can't be done without support. Located in Sonora, Mexico, 6-15-25; plan to transport to TJ then San Diego within the month. Fingers crossed! |
Our Process to Adopt and Adoption Fees
About us
Our focus is to help where help is needed. Two women, one idea. Along with other volunteers, our foster families being extremely important, vets, transporters, donors, and photographers, we save dogs from Tijuana, Sonora, San Diego, and in the SF Bay Area.
Our group remains small but persistent! We have rescued for over twenty years; the last seven plus years mainly in Mexico due to the overwhelming need. We are experienced, educated, and follow guidelines outlined by UC Davis Vet School, our vets, and common sense, making our group one of the first to implement blood panels for dogs exposed to ticks or poor living conditions, completed series of 3 DHDP vaccines for puppies, and Rabies vaccines for all. We know when our dogs cross the border, they are well vaccinated, spayed, neutered, and chipped!
