Our mission, our commitment, our passion is to remember that the life of every dog, every animal counts. We are a group of dedicated people located in San Diego, the San Francisco Bay Area, including Sonoma County who rescue dogs, foster dogs, and rehome them when they are ready.
Our adoption fees for a dog provides repayment for the costs related to that dog, but your adoption fee for your new puppy, adult dog, or senior dog supports our commitment to spaying and neutering street dogs and dogs belonging to low income families who cannot afford the cost of veterinarians. Adoption fees also pay for dog food provided to street dogs and low income families with dogs and cats. Our group donates dog and cat vaccinations to low income families. We donate cleaning supplies and pay many of our volunteers in Mexico a stipend to house and care for our dogs. Some of our dogs are badly abused, neglected, or even hit by a car and left on the side of the road to die. The cost to vet them in Mexico or California is paid in two ways: one, each of us volunteers gives what we can and two, your adoption fee helps to pay for so much. It's not just about your adopted dog. It's about helping the community. And remember, we do not have a 501c, so we do not qualify for large donations from companies, the state or federal government.
Our mission changes as the needs of the community changes. We will not stop until the need is gone. We believe in rescuing from within the United States and from outside the United States.
We cannot save them all; we know that. Part of our story is an ongoing focus on spaying and neutering street dogs in Tijuana, Tecate, and Mexicali Mexico, providing food and vaccines, Bravecto or other flea and tick inhibitors. Not all dogs will find a home. For those that do not, we try to make life more comfortable for them.
Do you want to join us? Foster a dog, donate dog food, donate dog crates, dog blankets, dog toys, and more. Join us in San Diego or the SF Bay Area. Help us by fostering a dog in need. It's so important that each dog have a chance to decompress, feel safe, get some basic care before moving on to a forever home. Email us at [email protected]
If not now, when?
Rosy Beraza
Virginia Wright
When a meeting is scheduled to meet a dog, you will meet either Rosy to the left or Virginia above. They are dedicated women with full time jobs, families, and still give of themselves so you can meet your next doggie companion.
Elsa provides foster care and transportation
We are working on getting more pictures of both our volunteers and those people paid to transport and provide pension for our dogs.
